If you are seeking to explore a warm, inviting and carefully designed Montessori style kids play space, look no further than Lidia's Play Cafe. The variety of wooden fixtures and toys were carefully selected to promote the development of children through play.
Due to recent events related to the COVID-19 pandemic we are going to make scheduling changes and do our part in the fight against this serious threat that is overcoming our nation. Effective Monday, March 16, we will no longer be open to the general public. We will keep you updated on reopening via our website, social media outlets and email announcements.
We would like thank Lidia’s Play Cafe community for all of the continued love and support. If each of us come together and do our part by following the CDC health and safety guidelines, we will contain this threat and hopefully our lives will be back to normal sooner than later. Let’s be positive and stay safe.
Lidia’s Play Café Family.
*Our venue is closed to the general public during event bookings. Please follow our weekend schedule updates for private event closings. We do our best to make the announcements on the website and via our social media outlets (Facebook/Instagram).
Age recommendation for play at Lidia’s Play Cafe is 0-6 years old.
Parents/guardians must supervise their children at all times whether they choose to do so from within the playspace area or the cafe sitting area. This is to ensure children do not hurt themselves and are following the playspace rules. A one time waiver of responsibility is required to be signed before a child enters the playspace area. To save time during your initial visit, you may fill out the waiver ahead of time via the waiver form below.
Each participant (parents/guardians & children) must remove their shoes and wear socks inside the play area. Children and parents are also encouraged to stay in the play area during playtime and put on their shoes when stepping out. We would like to keep the play area sanitary and dirt free during your stay, which can result from socks being worn both inside and outside of the play space.
We care about keeping our community safe. Please do not bring your child to Lidia’s Play Café if they are sick, contagious or showing other symptoms of an illness. If your child is recovering from a virus, remember that standard procedure calls for a 24 hours FEVER FREE period, without the aid of medication, once the fever breaks. Your child may visit Lidia’s only after he/she has been free from signs of illness or symptoms for at least 24 hours.
Lidia’s Play Cafe is open seven (7) days a week. Any changes in schedule due to holidays, birthday and other special events, inclement weather etc. are published on our website and on our social media outlets.
Designated stroller parking is available inside Lidia’s Play Cafe at the front of the cafe area. We encourage parents to fold the strollers when possible and leave them in the designated area.
Lidia’s Play Cafe is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Unclaimed items left behind are periodically donated.
A combination of meter parking and unpaid parking is available right in front of the cafe depending on which side of the street you are on. Unpaid parking is also available on the residential side streets nearby. For the most part, parking is available within our vicinity.
